Tall, lean, and In shape are the easiest ways to describe Billy. Longer arms than a typical person of his height, with spider like fingers, and a constant slouch round out his general looks. Tousled dirty blonde hair that hasn’t been combed in ages, rests just above gray eyes that never seem to be in focus. His general attire is a step above grunge, a little classy, with a side of stay 500 feet from any local schools. Often times wearing button ups completely undone, along side pants with far to many holes….yet in a stylish way. He is almost never seen without an instrument slung about his person.

Personality: In many ways Billy possesses two personalities. In his every day life he is often considered quite and reserved. Offering very few opinions, and staring far to long before speaking. Match that with unobservant and forgetful, he almost seems helpless. Making it through life by chance. This is at complete odds with his stage persona. Once he is in front of a crowd a switch flips, able to command hundreds of peoples attentions, snap back at hecklers, and put on a performance that’ll be talked about for months. He is as self conscious as he is confident, leading to a difficulty with social interactions. Finding it difficult to bring out the man behind the stage.

History: Born just outside of New York, New York Billy Irons, real name Stevan Pennington, enjoyed a relatively simple childhood. Scrawny, shy, and short led to him not always having the best luck with bullies, but still he made it through. His passions involved instruments and that was His purpose in a world that often works to remove purpose from our grasp.

He wouldn’t hit his social stride until into his early twenties, when a late growth spurt would finally bring him a small shred of self confidence. Accepted to Juliard for his musical abilities he became adept at playing a variety of string instruments and dabbled in a few more . While there he became friends, rather slowly, with several other boys who would eventually become his band mates. Though they suffered the starving artist lifestyle like so many before them there was never a shortage of laughs and comradely, plus a few free beers at some of the dive bars they got gigs with.

This lasted until Billy was into his late twenties when the group finally caught a break. A one hit wonder grunge song took the local radio airwaves by storm, followed with a multi million dollar record deal. However, the thing with dreams…..if there aren’t goals attached, they will never be anything more than just dreams.

Enjoying the rockstar life, late parties, and even more party favors it would eventually catch up to Billy. One night while out driving he was involved with a hit and run. The fall out would ruin his career and send the band into compete disarray. Culminating in an embezzlement, fraud, manslaughter, and drug possession charges to name a few. Scared and unsure what to do, Billy took what little money he had saved away and ran for it.

Several years later he finds him self in his early thirties, starting life all over again. Kyoto Japan has become his home. Playing gigs when he can to make what little money there is to be made, his split personality keeps a wide gap. The difference from when he is playing to not even more noticeable.

It’s in Kyoto however that he was picked up by a certain organization. Still unsure what they see in him, and even more unsure to believe what he’s told, Billy is just in it for the ride. Even still, similarities between the mysterious deaths on the late night streets of Japan, and the car accident in New York have started to make him wonder if there was something he had not seen so long ago……
