The only other member of the original group to come from a land further than Akani herself, somewhere called North America, John found his way to these lands attempting to escape the death threat on his life for the murder of seventeen individuals in unsanctioned duels to the death by quick draw combat. It also didn't help that his skin color was not accepted the correct tone where he hailed from. He was always able to seemingly sense ahead of time danger and his senses are what pushed him ahead of those round him as he could almost sense a change in the air flow around someone even down to the twitches of their fingers before a draw. He supposed it was survival instincts gained over time of him being hunted and or hunting others, but that was the job of a bounty hunter and he'd always see it through to the end. Unfortunately for him his last mark happened to be fake and on a highly influential families son that was using an alias to sleep with hookers and drown the families fortune. One shot to the heart and he was now on the run attempting to get away from money that knew no bounds or territory limits.

He found himself at the shores of Japan after stowing away for a trip that would carry him from his own fate. Samuels arrived with the closest form of civilization being Hachioji. He met Akani his fifth month in the city, she seemed to always be where he was constantly staring at him as if attempting to measure him to something. He never sensed malice from her so he let it be and assumed she might be attracted to him till she approached him. She explained what  it was she wanted of him and in fact he was the only one that was told exactly what it was she wanted him to learn and teach. Something about a beast breathing style, he remembered her saying that his aura and attention gave off the impression he followed his gut more than attempting to use logic and this would be perfect. John thought the woman to be crazy as anyone would when told about demons and controlled breathing allowing you to do inhuman things. that was when she made him a deal, take the scrolls and practice for  a month, just attempt to understand it and feel it and if he couldn't do it she'd pay him well for his time. He needed the money so he agreed to her terms and for a month he went outside in the mountains that surrounded Hachioji to study and become even more in tune with his instincts and also what the scrolls called his animal side. After a month, she returned to his village and found him on the outskirts waiting for her clearly more defined and senses sharper than ever, a faint smile appeared over her face and he quietly followed her interested to see where this ride went.

John isn't feral, he's not an animal but he's the closest to what you'd assume to be a beast man only more prominent in his old all black cowboy gear. He stands at a height of 6'8 with a constant slouch that makes him appear more aggressive. His attitude and nature are both oppressive almost as if trying to dominate all around him as the alpha. Just as he had learned John takes his students into the woods where he drills them with ferocity, barking orders always telling them to feel more instead of think, focus on the now rather than attempting to think steps ahead. The simplest answer is usually the best and faster in getting the job done, he's left students in the woods countless times for over thinking and attempting to overly use logic and plans, it goes against his lesson and he won't be disrespected.

Beast breathing special ability
This form allows the user to move their internal organs around inside their body if inflicted with a fatal blow one time for free and each other time they must perform a saving roll. Once they reach the rank of Hinoe due to training their body they have hardened trained their muscles and hardened their bones to the point of being able to perform a saving roll on decapitation or brain damage once.

All beast breathing attacking techniques are basic in form but violent and thus will receive damage bonuses only. The style was made with two swords in mind however different weapons can be used as well or even just one blade if the user thinks they're fast enough.

First Fang: Pierce- The user stabs the target with both blades(or blade).+2 to damage. John teaches you this for free for the entrance exam. - 5 breath

Second Fang: Slice- The user unleashes a double slash with two blades(or blade) in an X-shaped cut. +3 to damage. John teaches this for free for the entrance exam - 5 breath

Third Fang: Devour- The user releases simultaneous horizontal slashes towards the target's limbs or throat to decapitate them(If successful in removing a limb an additional +2 damage). +4 to damage. 1000 words training anytime after the exam -10 breath

Fourth Fang: Slice 'n' Dice- The user delivers multiple diagonal double slashes with both swords.+2 to damage. 800 words training -5 breath

Fifth Fang: Crazy Cutting- The user slices everything in all directions while in mid-air. Till Kinoe rank this attack hits everyone including your allies due to your inexperience. Once Kinoe rank is achieved this attack only hits all enemies(for each person in the topic this attack does +1 damage). +8 to damage. 1500 words training and a demon kill -20 breath

Sixth Fang: Palisade Bite- The user releases simultaneous slashes with two swords from both directions in a saw-like movement. +3 to damage. 800 words helping John clear the forest training area of tress and other debris -5 breath

Seventh Form: Spatial Awareness- The user utilizes their sense of touch to identify the position of enemies and their weaknesses by feeling small disturbances in the air. For 4 posts the user receives a -2 to be hit due to them relying more on their senses and becoming more animalistic. However if they are hit they take +4 damage from all attacks. 1500 words training on knowing your senses and your bodies limits +1 more demon kill -20 breath

Eighth Form: Explosive Rush- The user charges towards their opponent at blinding speeds while swinging both their swords. +5 to damage dealt and +3 to damage taken due to defense sacrifice 100 words training your lower body in short bursts of speed with John -15 breath

Ninth Fang: Extending Bendy Slash- The user dislocates the joints of their arm to increase the range of their attack, and then unleashing a fast swinging forward strike. +6 to damage. 900 words training with Samuels stretching and learning to safely contort your body and move your muscles and bones at will. - 10 breath

Tenth Fang: Whirling Fangs- The user rapidly spins their swords in a circular motion, deflecting enemy attacks such as projectiles. All attacks towards you are deflected till your next post, this can be used to deflect attacks towards another person however you will take half damage rounded up due to having to move in their place. Have the urge to want to protect others and train 1000 words -15 breath

Sudden Throwing Strike- The user throws both of their blades in a spinning motion at an enemy. +5 damage. Train your aim and muscle memory in releasing your weapon without thinking at high speeds for 1000 words -10 breath

After you learn all the techniques Samuels will ask for a duel before he allows you to make your own fangs and forms.
