The heiress to a fortune and also the benefactor of the Demon Slayer Corps she was born and raised in Takinogawa as a woman of the arts and femininity. Her body was something to be praised and as such she was taught to always hide her skin under layered clothing until her wedding day. As such she continues that tradition even now choosing to wear clothing that covers her entirely besides her head that flows in different direction always hiding her true intentions and movement. The 24 year old has never known want in her life and only the luxuries that come from it but has always wanted to experience the world on her own which was highly frowned upon by her parents till she was twenty years old. Once her birthday came and she wasn't wed she argued with her parents to allow her to see the world around her and find her own suitor that she could bring home, hesitantly they allowed it as long as she wrote home and checked in when she could.

During the next three years she traveled Japan absorbing everything it had to offer absorbing herself in the culture and the communities helping out where she could personally, and the places she couldn't help with her own hands money was always a great alternative to helping those in need. During her third year traveling she began hearing more faint whispers of demons and a small group of people who hunted them. She began to fantasize about belonging to a group of heroes going through the lands saving those in need, it was just like the books she used to read as a child. It so happened that money could even buy information that was held close or hidden to others and it bought her a meeting with gentle man and an abrasive woman completely cold and different from herself named Akani. Her conversations with the two gave her insights into the world behind the veil that few knew about and she wanted to help even more listening to them. Her attempts were met with pushback from the female yet each time the male counter part would interject and speak on behalf of Nao. In the end her financial help was appreciated for the efforts but also both of the two that had met with her saw a spark that was rare in those of her age, such caring eyes and a heart of pure love for all was so hard to come by it was almost as if she didn't have a evil thought ever.

Ms. Haho teaches the mist breathing style which matches her personality of enveloping everything and freely flowing as she wishes. Her teaching style is very unique as it involves dancing to teach her students to be light on their feet and use their body to confuse those around them that look upon their movements. She teaches those that choose her as their teacher that there is no better job than protecting those that can't protect themselves and being at the back of their allies to protect them. Nao teaches at her dance hall inside Takinogawa disguising her sword skill training as pure dance and method interpretive dance

Mist breathing special ability
Due to the breathing styles ability to confuse and mix the senses of their opponents once they use a breathing form in a topic all allies receive a -1 to be hit for 2 posts except against high ranked demons and Tsuguko-Hashira ranked humans and the user themselves. All the users damage is halved if more than one other demon slayer is in the topic due to focusing on distraction over attacking.

Breathing techniques

First Form: Low Clouds, Distant Haze- The user unleashes a powerful thrust attack in front of them. +1 to hit you learn this for free for the selection exam. -5 breath

Second Form: Eight-Layered Mist- The user unleashes eight forward slashes with each one on top of the other in extremely quick succession. Each ally that posts after you has a +1 to hit till your next post. Join a fellow slayer in a topic for a demon hunt. -10 breath

Third Form: Scattering Mist Splash- The user releases a powerful circular slash in front of them that can be used to blow away projectiles. this attack returns all projectiles back to the attacker if successful damage that would have been done to you is done to them. Attempt this technique in 2 topics against a projectile user in a real battle( if it's successful this will do half the damage rounded down as you have not mastered it) -10 breath

Fourth Form: Shifting Flow Slash- The user quickly unsheathes their sword and dashes towards their enemy at blinding speeds and delivers a quick slash from beneath them. This attack will always hit if the enemy is under the effects of any other ability other than this breathing style. Join a topic with another demon slayer that has abilities that hamper the demons abilities (I:E Insect breathing) -10 breath

Fifth Form: Sea of Clouds and Haze - The user dashes forward at high speed and unleashes a flurry of slashes that cover a wide area while obscuring their movements. Hits all enemies, your main target takes another -1 to hit for their next post. Must join a topic with multiple demons and survive. -10 breath

Sixth Form: Lunar Dispersing Mist - The user backflips into the air while upside down and delivers countless ranged slashes downwards, capable of decimating multiple of targets at once. Hits all enemies, all allies gain a +3 to damage as the enemy can't defend themselves properly. Join a topic with multiple demon slayers against a unranked special/ranked demon and survive/kill the demon. - 15 breath

Seventh Form: Obscuring Clouds -  A technique in which the user drastically changes the tempo of their movement to disorient their enemy, which seemingly takes the form of clouds of mist enveloping a wide area. When the user shows themselves, their speed will appear to be extremely slow but when they hide, the user moves in the blink of an eye. The ultimate technique in subterfuge and protection once activated all enemies before their post must roll a mist dice to keep their senses grounded. if they fail all attacks will take a -2 to hit, the user can't use another mist technique while this is active but they can keep this up for as long as they have breath. Participate and survive a high ranked demon battle, after 5 posts from you in the topic you can attempt this technique if successful it's potency will be cut in half and only last for 1 round os posts -30 breath, -10 breath per post

All techniques will be given to you to learn on your own once you complete the entrance exam you must train your body on your own and learn what it means to you to protect others, each technique will have a pre-requisite. You can make your own styles after completing the entrance exam.
